IndyGo is hosting public meetings to reach out to neighbors in regard to the proposed Blue Line bus rapid transit line as a replacement for the #8 bus route - this is proposed to be open in 2020 and would run right through the Englewood neighborhood along E. Washington Street. Englewood Christian Church hosted a meeting on Monday, July 23rd specific to this topic and had a good turnout. IndyGo will continue to hold these public meetings as the process moves along and as they apply for funding from a Small Starts grant for this portion of the project.
