The Twin Aire Neighborhood Coalition (TANC) has been actively engaged in the design of the Assessment Intervention Center which will be the first building under construction in the Community Justice Campus (CJC). The funding and design has been approved by the city. Located on the other side of Pleasant Run waterway from the planned Court and Detention facilities, the urban design of the Assessment and Intervention Center is consistent with the Great places plan, and differentiates itself in both form and function from the other buildings on the Community Justice Center Campus, creating a distinct place that supports alternatives to incarceration. The facility will invest in mental health and addiction services, and other social services.
