Great Places Neighborhoods: Five strategic places located within the west, north and, east sides of Indianapolis, have deep roots in our city’s history. While each Great Place has its own unique character and vision, together they strengthen Indianapolis and will contribute to the City as Indianapolis continues to grow and prosper.

Lead Organizations provide leadership, convening and coordination support, and build capacity to advance plan implementation.
Leadership & Steering Committee meets quarterly to provide strategic direction to the Great Places 2020 initiative including resource alignment, influencing system change and overall accountability of the initiative’s identified metrics.

LISC serves as the backbone organization and provides support to secure resources, align partners, facilitate communication, ensure data collection and evaluation and support capacity building.

LOVE Implementation Partners inform strategic direction and recruit resource experts related to their LOVE focus area.

Community of Practice meets regularly to connect neighborhood practitioners with one another and with LOVE resource experts for best practice sharing, professional development and capacity building.
LOVE Resource Experts are individuals and organizations that serve as subject matter experts in the four LOVE focus areas. They are highlighted in the LOVE Resource Directory and provide strategic support and expertise to both the collective initiative and the Great Places neighborhoods.
