Crew Carwash has committed to support neighborhood efforts to improve traffic safety at the intersection. At community request, DPW agreed to install turn lanes on Illinois for east- and west-bound motor vehicle traffic on 38th Street. Crew also committed to hiring locally and at least six employees have been hired from adjacent neighborhoods and are able to walk to work.
