Indy Convergence Hosts River West Rara

Last Friday Indy Convergence hosted a successful Rara, a Haitian street band that grows and

evolves as it moves through the city playing traditional instruments. The Rara culminated on West Michigan Street with Big Tent, an interactive video installation, and more music. Thanks to the Arts Council of Indianapolis, Indiana Arts Commission, Indianapolis Public Library, Reconnecting to Our Waterways, Gary Opp, Tedd Hardy, Rob and Sue Wilkes, Near West Indy, Bryan Fonseca & the River West Theater, and Palace (the traveling band).
